Each training session will commence with registration at 8:30am and it will conclude with lunch at 2pm. Please indicate on the registration link if you are available to stay for lunch.
Overview
The JMB will provide training for Board of Management members at eight venues during the month of November. The Board of Management training session will provide board members with a clear insight into their roles and responsibilities as board members and the relationship between the Board and the Trustees. In looking at the role and functions of the board, particular reference will be made to the Articles of Management, government guidelines and relevant legislation.

Who should attend
Members of Boards of Management in voluntary secondary schools are invited to attend one of the training sessions. We encourage all members of new boards of management and new members of existing boards of management to make a special effort to attend. Newly appointed principals are also encouraged to attend.
Cost
The cost of the training is €40 per attendee.
