Warning over ‘emergency’ shortage of secondary school principals

The next “emergency” in education will be a shortage of secondary principals due to the growing burden on school leaders, a national representative body has warned.

Research commissioned by the National Association of Principals and Deputy Principals (NAPD) indicates that less than a third predict they will still be in a leadership role in five years’ time. Read article
