School holidays ‘unlikely’ to be cut to make up for Storm Ophelia closures

Irish Times: Schools are unlikely to be required to cut short their holidays to make up for lost time as a result of closures linked to Storm Ophelia, according to senior sources.Minister for Education Richard Bruton has said the Department of Education will “take stock” and issue guidance after consultation with school management bodies.
