Does this mean students automatically 'pass' Irish? A: Technically yes and it's a guaranteed minimum H6 (46 points) or O6 (12 points), although for CAO applicants, 40pc may not be enough to meet entry requirements for a particular course, so it's not as simple as that. Read article
