JMB Support for Schools Opening a Special Education Class in 2025 - Responding to opportunities and challenges

The JMB will host a professional learning event for schools planning to open a special class in September 2025.  The session will take place on Wednesday, 29th January 2025 and will address school specific questions in the following areas:

  • Accommodation requirements (reconfiguration/additional accommodation)
  • Available supports
  • Admissions
  • Staffing
  • Curriculum

We are delighted that personnel from the DE Building Unit and the NCSE will join us on the day.  A detailed programme for the event will issue early in the new term.
