We acknowledge that this has been a particularly difficult time for students preparing to sit their Leaving Certificate examination and the Association of Community and Comprehensive Schools, (ACCS) Education and Training Boards Ireland (ETBI) and Joint Managerial Body (JMB) appreciate the clarity brought about in today’s announcement by the Minister.
Our preferred option has always been that the Leaving Certificate, Leaving Cert Applied and Leaving Cert Vocational Programme would proceed in a manner and time as close to that anticipated by the students as possible, but we do accept that this cannot now be the case. Read press release
