New Wellbeing resources for schools

The Wellbeing Policy Statement and Framework for Practice has been revised and finalised. This comprises the key areas of wellbeing in education on which schools are advised to focus, the indicators of success in each of these key areas and statements of effective practice to guide schools. In addition, a suite of resources to support schools in this important work has been developed. School are asked to include wellbeing promotion as a focus for their School Self-Evaluation.

30 schools have been invited to participate in a pilot project.  20 Primary and 10 post primary.

All supporting documentation, including a suite of resources is now available on the DES website.
