Our annual JMB Seminar for school personnel from within the DEIS programme will be kindly hosted by Principal Brian Bergin and school community at St Paul’s Secondary School, Monasterevin and we invite you and your school community to participate on Thursday 12th March 2026 from 10.00am to 1.00pm. St Paul’s is located here and is readily accessible from major routes.
The event will have three key elements on professional learning, policy directions, and practice-sharing:
- We are delighted to say we will be joined by Ms Yvonne Tougher, Anseo Implementation Team, Tusla to discuss Implementing Effective Attendance Strategies and the ANSEO Framework
- We will also meet with Mr Patrick Kelly, NCSE Specialist Lead for Post Primary Education & Curriculum who will present on Developing Team and Co-teaching with a Focus on Curricular Access for All
- In our final item, ‘Ideas Worth Stealing!’ we will hear from three schools:
- O’Connell Secondary School, Dublin on Building Student Engagement and Retention through Integrated Guidance and Community Partnerships
- St Seton’s Secondary School, Ballyfermot, on Reaching the Hard-to-Reach Student, and,
- St Paul’s Secondary School on Parent Teacher Meetings as a School Partnership Event
