Your Board is invited to nominate two people to attend one of the information evenings on child protection for members of school Boards of Management. The evenings have been developed in partnership with the three management organisations at second level – the JMB, the ACCS and the IVEA.

The aim of the information evenings is to:

  • Provide members of Boards of Management with information on the new Child Protection Guidelines for Post Primary Schools.
  • Clarify the responsibilities of Boards of Management and VECs in relation to the welfare and protection of children.
