The JMB/AMCSS is arranging a series of seminars to assist school management with the interpretation of staffing allocations and schedules for 2012/13.

Agenda

The seminars will consist of a presentation on staffing allocations and schedules. Advice will also be given on conducting a curricular audit and submitting an application for curricular concessions. In addition the implications for schools of the proposed redeployment scheme will be outlined.

At the conclusion of the formal presentation element of the seminar JMB staff will be available to assist school management on an individual basis with issues around allocations etc.

Attendees

In order to get maximum benefit from the seminar it is essential that all attendees bring a copy of the DES Staffing Schedule for 2012/13 and associated documentation for their school. It is expected that this documentation will issue to schools within the next week. In addition attendees should bring a copy of the DES Staffing Schedule for this school year 2011/12.

The workshops will be of particular benefit to school principals and any member of the school staff and/or board of management who has responsibility for making decisions in relation to the curriculum, timetable and staffing for the school year 2011/12. In order to facilitate the engagement of all attendees in the seminar, schools are requested to limit their representation to a maximum of two.
